New year, new us

We've launched a new website, migrated our system to be more performant and have layed out the groundwork roadmap for version 2 of our Tool.

What's been happening?

Maybe you've felt out of the loop at times with us and we're sorry for that. Working continuously on improving our products and customer experience, we haven't had much time to keep you up to date with our latest developments.

That's bound to change.

We've noticed that there is a lot of interest in what we're working on and how we prioritize new features. So to keep you more informed, we've created a new blog on our website on which the whole Hotellistat team will publish new posts in their respective areas such as marketing, engineering, revenue management and more. So stay tuned, you'll see a lot of new posts in the coming weeks.

Tool v2

Maybe you've already heard, but we're happy to let you know that we're currently working on a complete rewrite of our Tool.

The new version will majorly improve performance for users, enable even more data analysis and greatly improve your usage experience.

With the fast paced development of bringing Hotellistat to life, we didn't take into account how well our systems would be scaling up at this point in time. This has caused fundamental performance issues that cannot be worked around. Additionally, as our team grew, we've also noticed that our tech stack might not be optimal for onboarding new engineers.

Thus we've chosen the drastic step of rebuilding our tool from the ground up. Using the latest technologies and optimizations we are sure, that you will love our new and improved version.

At the moment we've already layed out the groundwork and created a road map for what's to come, so stay tuned for further updates on Tool v2. A road map will be published soon.

Infrastructure

You may have noticed, we have migrated our complete server infrastructure to a new system. Built on Kubernetes, it allows us to scale much more efficiently and allow for more redundancy. As we have painfully experienced, not having enough redundancy in our system can cause major issues. That's why we are heavily investing into our new system, such that we can offer you the best service possible without interruptions.

Website

We've updated our website to be more informative about what we're doing and how you can leverage our system to optimize your hotel intelligence. The website features a new blog, and will represent a knowledge platform that we will keep improving and adding new content to.

We wouldn't be where we are today without our customers, we thank you for the continuos support you give us.
